Our Seismic Assurance Programme is a long-term commitment to the independent system-level testing, reporting and product development of seismic restraint solutions for non-structural elements (NSEs).
The industry qualifies seismic restraint components in isolation, leaving engineers to infer how the whole assembly performs under real seismic demand. That gap is where buildings fail to meet expectations.
The FDG Seismic Assurance Programme addresses this through independent system-level testing, reporting, and product development. The first phase focuses on testing complete restraint assemblies and sharing our findings openly with the New Zealand engineering community, to ensure our solutions are robust, transparent, and aligned to industry expectations.
